How quickly do new entries to MailBlock rules take effect?

Additions or modifications to your IgLou MailBlock rule list take effect immediately after hitting the Add or Delete buttons.

Because the changes are immediate, you can make modifications to your list and immediately test the results. For example, if you wanted, you could block your own mail address (temporarily) and then send yourself a piece of mail. You would then see the message blocked in your MailBlock log window.

Of course, we don't recommend blocking yourself from sending yourself electronic mail, but it is useful for testing.
