Efficient Networks 5667 Ethernet & USB
The Efficient 5567 Ethernet/USB DSL modem is no longer officially supported by IgLou for use with our IgStreme ADSL service. Although we have hundreds of customers using this modem successfully, newer models only support a "routing" mode which requires significant reconfiguration to work with IgLou's service.The 5667 supports both Ethernet and USB connections simultaneously from two different computers. This modem will work in a bridged-Ethernet configuration for use with real static IP addresses.
We have received reports that the 5667-003 does not work with our service. We are unsure as to why this modem doesn't work. Efficient's technical support department has been unable to tell us the difference between the model numbers either.
